05:30PM - 07:30PMWednesdayNyamirambo Assemblies of God is a branch of Rwanda Pentecostal Assemblies of God. Both I and my wife pioneered this church since July 1995. I am married to Mukamazimpaka Annet who also was called to serve the Lord in her early teenager. After ten years of marriage, God in His miraclerous way granted us with two children where the Doctors said that it would be impossible. “To God everything is possible…” I have been called into the ministry since 1975. I first ministered with Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Tanzania where I had been a refugee since 1959. Before I returned back from exile, I was a Pastor of Dar es salaam Pentecostal church (DPC) since 1985 to the end of 1994. By the time we returned into the country, we felt God calling us to serve in Nyamirambo, a location of Muslims. The place was not attractive but it was in a great need for the ministry.
The church started in a demolished place ; it was right after the genocide. Hearts were broken, people had no hope and they were poor. Beside Nyamirambo where the church based was known for street children, a place where thieves and prostitutes stayed. The house in which it started was closer to the market place used for toilet to all passengers, and street children. Both I and my wife had to clean the place daily for the church use.
When we started we were only 7people, today the church has 1,500 members and had raised many Christians who left and went to serve in other areas. We have also started other two branches in Nyarugenge district. God has given us wonderful church members who supports our ministry. We cannot achieve this alone it is only through team work that makes this ministry effective.
Regarding my ministry training, In 1975 I graduated in Pentecostal Bible College located at Nyang’ori Kisumu Kenya where I received the Diploma in Theology. By the year 2009 I was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology from Global University, Springfield, Missouri, USA. Beside this, I have completed a Master program in Biblical Studies through the same University in 2014.
God has been so faithful and He remains faithful.
