Abarezi beza held a thrilling special day
On Sunday June 16, 2019 was a special day for Women Department dubbed ‘Abarezi beza’. On the day, all Church activities were done by the women.
Preaching to the congregation Pastor Sarah Mutesi ; invited from Revelation Church, reminded the church to always remember God’s wonders in one’s life as it pushes one to love God wholeheartedly and serve Him.
Basing on the following Scriptures ; God ordered the Israelites to never forget what he did for them during the Passover in Egypt so that they kept their eyes fixed on Him. “This is a day you are to commemorate ; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord a lasting ordinance.” Exodus 12:14
“When you enter the land that the Lord will give you as he promised, observe this ceremony. And when your children ask you, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you ?’ then tell them, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’” Exodus 12:25-27
Commenting on the Scriptures, Pastor Mutesi said “Anytime you encounter hardships and setbacks in your life, please be reminded of how God has been faithful to you and trust Him more.”
Scriptures read :
Exodus 6:5, Exodus 12:14, Exodus 12:25, Deuteronomy 3:21-22, Deuteronomy 7:18-19, Deuteronomy 32:7-10, Psalm 105:5-8 and Psalm 143:5.
Mrs. Suzan Mukankubana ; Women’s Department President expressed her gratitude to the Church’s leadership for the opportunity. She also thanked the church members in general for attending the seminar organized by the Department from 11th to 16th June 2019, themed “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…” Ecclesiastes 9:10
“We would like to thank Pastor Sarah Mutesi for having been a blessing to us throughout the week.” Echoed Mrs. Mukankubana.
The Women Department (Abarezi Beza) at Nyamirambo Assemblies of God is now made of 23 zones and it works under five pillars : Blessing their own families, Pastors, neighbors, the church and the Country through the act of preaching the good news of salvation.
