During the fifth week of 40 days of praying and fasting, the church was fortunate to have Pastor Jean Marie Vianney Mulinda from Samuduha Assemblies of God, who preached about the eschatology.
interpreting the Book of Revelation, the Pastor explained that till its fourth chapter, the Church is still on the World but in the following chapters, it will have gone and the Anti-Christ will start working publicly. There will be huge persecution and deaths to people who will resist Anti-Christ’s orders.
Pastor Mulinda encouraged believers to follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly since salvation is compared to marriage and marriage is defined by the following three aspects : fellowship, commitment and love (for Christ). “That’s true Christianity, apart from this, it’s false Christianity. Remember, the very first law is to love God wholeheartedly, mind and strength (finance).” Added Pastor Mulinda
Pastor added that trying to interpret 666 mark associating it with nowadays’ life is a speculation as the Bible says "This calls for wisdom..." Revelation 17:9 which means that in its rightful time, it will be defined. “We’ve got to embrace technology as it eases life and since the Church is still on the World.” commented the Pastor.
Chapter 18 clarifies that the cosmos (The World’s system) through the Armageddon war will be put to an end by Jesus Christ. Revelation 19:6 marks an invitation to the wedding of the Lamb.
What will happen after the rupture ?
There will be a period seven years to test church’ works and extreme tribulation to those who will have stayed on the World but resist the Anti-Christ.
Christians’ works, courage, testimonies and ministries will be tested and get rewarded for them accordingly.
Pastor Mulinda reminded every Christian to use every talent and opportunity he/she has since it is temporary and he/she will be rewarded according to the way he/she used it. Also, he mentioned that since the Bible compares believers as a body’s parts, they’ve got to work faithfully and courageously without any complaint, “for we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10.
Right after the 7 years, the groom (Jesus Christ), his bride (The Church), few living Israelites and the ones who will have withstood the tribulation will be reigning over the world (not the new World) for 1,000 years. Rev 19:11.
1 Pet 1:10. Col 3:2-4. Zechariah 14:4 Christ will set his feet on Mount Olives. Rev 20:1-3. 19:19-21 : The beast and the false prophet shall be captured and thrown in the burning sulfur. Armageddon war will be ended by Christ after conquering over The Beast and his army. Rev 19:19-21. There will be judgement for people who will have died before the rupture and for the ones who will have followed the Anti-Christ. Luke 22:28-30, 1 Corinth 6:2-3.
Then what about the persecuted ones during the 7 years ?
The will be risen but not bride. (Rev 20:4b). They’ll be risen to reign over the world for 1000 years.
Survivors of the persecution will be very reproductive during the 1000 years as they will still be made of human bodies but there won’t be any pain since the Devil won’t be working anymore. The curse of Adam’s sin will be removed from the World.
Note ’The 1000 years-kingdom is not The Heaven’ because none will go to Heaven without having been tested so will it be for the generation that will have been born during the 1000 years-kingdom : The devil will be freed for a while (Rev 20:3-) and the some of them will follow him to attack Jerusalem, however, the fire from Heaven will immediately strike them and be thrown to the eternal burning sulfur.
